WRITTLE COLLEGE ACCOMMODATION OFFICE
For out-of-term course dates it may be possible for students to arrange on-site accommodation, this must be arranged through the Writtle College accommodation office and is offered on a first-come first-serve basis. We suggest that students ask for a top floor room away from common rooms and potentially noisy corridors and hallways

CATERING AT WRITTLE COLLEGE

Please note that opening days and times may vary outside term times so it is suggested that students consider alternative catering options.
The Writtle Chef restaurant and bar are open from 12 -2pm and 7- 11pm daily.
The Writz is open for breakfast at 8am on Monday - Friday and serves food until 6pm, during the weekend brunch is served at 12.30 - 1. 30 and on Sunday an evening meal is served between 5-6pm.
The College shop in the main building sells sandwiches and drinks and is open from 9am to 5pm during term time and from 9am to midday during holidays.
There are vending machines and a cash dispenser located in the sports hall beside the Writtle Chef.
There are two local pubs within walking distance that serve good reasonably priced food, they are
The Inn on the Green and the Horse and Groom (each about 5- 7 minutes walk)
The College Nursery has its own tea garden which serves homemade sandwiches and cakes every day except Monday – open from 10h30 to 16h00.
There is a Co-operative store in the village which is open from 08h00am to 20h00pm from Monday to Saturday and 08h00am to 17h00 on Sunday.
Nearby Texaco and BP garages sell basic sandwiches.
